Veigar can power up the standard Darkness card, like increasing its damage and reducing its cost. The card is a 3 cost slow spell that deals two damage to any follower, or even the enemy’s Nexus. Veigar focuses on using a new key card in the game, Darkness. Caitlyn, like Teemo, focuses on traps, which makes them natural fits in a deck together. Poppy is based around powering up her allies on the board. Speaking of those new champions, Beyond the Bandlewood brings nine to the fold. Not to mention they’ll also meet new friends along the way, some who even show up as new champion cards. The titular Bandlewood itself is a land of whimsical adventure, with the main set of creatures collecting magical trinkets throughout. Thankfully, the new set has a lot to add to the game, both mechanically and within the game’s world and lore. But as far as whole new regions go, Bandlewood is it. New sets, cards, and champions will still be coming after Beyond the Bandlewood, of course. Corki, the Daring Bombardier, gained his title by test-piloting one of these contributions - the original design for the Reconnaissance Operations Front-Line Copter, an aerial assault vehicle which has become the backbone of the Bandle City Expeditionary Force (BCEF). ![]() What yordles lack in stature, they make up for with industriousness. When Heimerdinger and his yordle colleagues migrated to Piltover, they embraced science as a way of life, and they immediately made several groundbreaking contributions to the techmaturgical community. Calm under fire, Corki patrols the skies around his adopted home, and has never encountered a problem that a good missile barrage couldn’t solve. He dedicated himself to the development of flying contraptions, leading an aerial defense force of seasoned veterans known as the Screaming Yipsnakes. After leaving Bandle City, he settled in Piltover and fell in love with the wondrous machines he found there. The yordle pilot Corki loves two things above all others: flying, and his glamorous mustache. ![]()
